Saweetie is challenging college students to get their swipe on for a chance to win a free concert from the Icy Girl herself. Tinder officially launched Swipe Off, a national challenge designed to help a new cohort of users flex their flirting skills, on Sept. 12.
Tinder sees the highest influx of new 18-year-old members during freshman orientations as students begin to put themselves out there and make new on-campus connections, according to a new release from Tinder.
The college or university with the most swipe activity will get a chance to see Saweetie live, along with a surprise special guest. By most swipe activity, Tinder means the school that sends the most ‘Likes’ or ‘Nopes’ up until Oct. 6 will win.

The contest will only be college and universities enrolled in Tinder U, which is an in-app feature that lets college students easily connect with others at their school.
"We created The Swipe Off challenge to feed into that energy and encourage them to unlock all the possibilities of the college experience that come from meeting new people,” according to Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Stephanie Danzi.
The winning school will be announced by Tinder on Oct. 20. For Swipe Off’s official rules and updates, visit Tinder’s social media channels or website.
Saweetie, a University of Southern California graduate could not be more excited to oversee the Swipe Off experience. Especially, since she references the dating app in her song “Tap In.”
"Whether they were a fling, a friend, or something more serious, the people I met at USC are what made my time there a blast. I’m excited to partner with Tinder in encouraging today’s college students to ‘tap in’ to the possibilities that come from meeting new people," Saweetie shared with Tinder.
